Cindy Mankus began her paralegal career as a litigation paralegal in 1977.  At the end of 2004, Cindy retired.  She quickly became bored watching the grass grow, and in February of 2005 began taking freelance assignments.  Other than working freelance, Cindy stays active as a member of PD and the Dallas Area Paralegal Association (DAPA).

Cindy served numerous roles for both the PD and DAPA, including as former President of DAPA, former DAPA Representative to the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, former Director of PD and former Chair (President) of PD.   Cindy now serves as an Ambassador for PD sharing her experience within the legal community.

Cindy resides in Plano, Texas and is happily married, has one son, and two cats.
