PARALEGALS FLY TO VIENNA & PRAGUE

(Eight Days and Seven Nights visiting Vienna, Austria & Prague, Czech Republic

The Paralegal Division has finalized its plans for the 2014 Trip to Europe to Vienna & Prague from April 18 – 26, 2014.   The deadline to register is October 31, 2013 (travelers must be 18 years of age or over).  

Trip details are below:

Friday, Apr 18, 2014Overnight Flight Depart for Europe.

Saturday, Apr 19, 2014Vienna.  Arrive in Vienna, transfer to your hotel for check-in; spend the afternoon exploring this beautiful Austrian capital. This evening enjoy a welcome reception followed by a special welcome dinner. (D)

Sunday, Apr 20, 2014Vienna.  Today there is guided city sightseeing tour of Vienna showing you the splendors of the city, beginning with Schonbrunn Palace.  Take a break for lunch.  Subject to availability, the group will enjoy a performance by the Spanish Riding School – Spanish horses that formed the Lipizzaner breed. Monday, Apr 21, 2014Vienna.  Journey outside the city to the countryside enjoying rolling hills, forests, vineyards, and stopping for lunch at one of the wine taverns (sample tasting included).  Return to city for free afternoon. (B, L)

Tuesday, Apr 22, 2014:   Prague.   Depart Vienna and drive to Prague.  Stop in Brno and stroll around the quaint Old Town.  Continue on and arrive in Prague by afternoon to begin your exploration of this vibrant city.  (B)

Wednesday, Apr 23, 2014:   Prague.  This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour with a local guide to include the Hradcany Castle, the cathedral, the 14th century Charles Bridge, and the architectural artistry of Mala Strana.  Stop to have lunch before visiting a glass gallery and workshop decorating your own beautiful masterpieces (refreshments included).  Remainder of day is on your own to explore sights such as the Golden Lane, the Prague Ghetto, etc. (B, L).

Thursday, Apr 24, 2014: Prague.   This morning journey to the lovely town of Pilsen for a guided visit to its famed brewery; enjoy lunch (on your own).  We then head to the Strahov Monastery (beautiful view over Prague) for a private tour of its ornate library that holds over 125,000 volumes. (B)

Friday, Apr 25, 2014: Prague.   Today is free for you to explore on your own.   This evening, enjoy your final evening with views of the city during a rooftop farewell dinner. (B, D)

Fees:  Departing DFW or Houston – $5,046; Austin/San Antonio – $5,106, Amarillo/Midland – $5,286; Abilene – $5,386 (includes program fee).  Note:  Registrations after June 30 may include additional fuel surcharges that are finalized 45 days prior to departure; an invoice will be sent at that time if there are any increases.  Other departure cities available upon request.  Fees based on 20 persons and includes airfare, hotel, transportation, tours, and meals as indicated above.

Additional/Optional fees:  Single room supplement:  $420; Ultimate Protection Plan:  $270; Comprehensive Protection Plan:  $225

LAND ONLY FEE: (if you wish to make your own air travel arrangements):  $3,779.00 

PAYMENT SCHEDULEDeadline for registration is October 30, 2013; Initial non-refundable deposit is $300; second payment of $500 is due November 15, 2013; third payment of $500 is dues on December 16, 2013, with balance due on Friday, January 31, 2014.  Please note:  there is a one-time $40 convenience fee for any credit card payments after the initial deposit. Non-payment of required on-time monthly payments will result in trip cancellation.

Automatic Payments makes planning your trip budget easy because your payments are spread out evenly, giving you more time to pay. You choose a payment frequency (every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, monthly, or quarterly) and your payments are automatically deducted from your checking or savings account.  Automatic Payments are available for all registered participants in “My Account:” at www.acis.com/accounts.   

EXTENSION:  To extend stay at the end of the trip, an Alternate Request Form must be completed (found at http://www.acis.com/cmsfiles/file/2013-Alternate-Return-Request-Form8.pdf) and returned to ACIS at least 90 days prior to your trip’s departure.  There will be an additional fee of $175 for this extension, plus any additional airline ticket costs.
