In 2012, the Board of Directors of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas appointed a committee comprised of paralegals who have been certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) – Deborah Andreacchi (Bankruptcy); Scheryl S. Beauchamp (Personal Injury); Cindy Curry (Estate Planning & Probate); Ginger Gage (Real Estate); Penny Grawunder (Civil Trial); Debbie House (Real Estate); Javan Johnson, Chair (Civil Trial); Teresa King (Estate Planning & Probate); Janet Nolley (Bankruptcy); Andrea Podlesney (Criminal); Robert Soliz (Civil Trial); Donna E. K. Soules (Family); Kimberly Spivey (Family); and Jody Vann (Civil Trial and Personal Injury). This committee worked together to compose this helpful hints guide for any paralegal who desires to take a specialty examination administered by TBLS.
