In today’s electronic world the ability to create or amend a contract is just a few clicks of your keyboard away. The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act was promulgated in 1999 to help states prepare for electronic commerce. The purpose was to make electronic transactions as enforceable as written/paper transactions. Texas has also enacted its own version of the law under the Texas’ Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Join us for this webinar to make sure you and your attorney are a aware of what exactly constitutes an electronic agreement or contract.
