VOTE FOR YOUR DISTRICT DIRECTOR & BYLAW AMENDMENT NOW – DEADLINE IS APRIL 11, 2014

March 28 – April 11, 2014 – Even Numbered District Directors, Special District 7 Election and Bylaws Amendment

The Paralegal Division is currently holding elections for District Directors in even-numbered districts (Districts 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16); a special election for District 7; and a Bylaws Amendment Election.  The Election IS BEING held from March 28 through April 11, 2014.  All Active members of the Paralegal Division in good standing as of March 28, 2014 are eligible to vote. All voting must be completed on or before 11:59 p.m., April 11, 2014All voting will be online and no ballots will be mailed to members.  Please take a few minutes to logon to the PD’s website and cast your vote for your District’s Director. The process is fast, easy, anonymous, and secure.
-Between March 28th and April 11, 2014 go to www.txpd.org
-In the Member-Only section, click on “Vote”
-Follow the instructions to login and vote

Renewals The Paralegal Division will be mailing the 2014-2015 membership renewal forms in April to all current 2013-2014 members of the Paralegal Division whose membership expires on May 31, 2014.  If you are a current 2013-2014 Active or Associate member (membership expiring on May 31, 2014), you are required to obtain at least 6 hours of CLE (2 hours can be self-study) between June 1, 2013 and May 31, 2014 in order to renew your 2014-2015 membership.  The Standing Rules of the Paralegal Division states that each Active and/or Associate member must obtain at least 6 CLE hours to renew membership for the following fiscal year (June 1May 31).

The Paralegal Division is here to help you!  To obtain your CLE, you may attend an on-site CLE or an Online CLE or download a CLEtoGo (podcast) from the PD’s Online CLE.  The Paralegal Division has a CLE website calendar that lists upcoming CLE (view at www.txpd.org) and also houses an Online CLE library for easy access to CLE.  Please see below a new list of Online CLE that you can access today at http://txpd.inreachce.com/
