In 2012, the Board of Directors of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas appointed a committee comprised of paralegals who have been certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) – Deborah Andreacchi (Bankruptcy); Scheryl S. Beauchamp (Personal Injury); Cindy Curry (Estate Planning & Probate); Ginger Gage (Real Estate); Penny Grawunder (Civil Trial); Debbie House (Real Estate); Javan Johnson, Chair (Civil Trial); Teresa King (Estate Planning & Probate); Janet Nolley (Bankruptcy); Andrea Podlesney (Criminal); Robert Soliz (Civil Trial); Donna E. K. Soules (Family); Kimberly Spivey (Family); and Jody Vann (Civil Trial and Personal Injury). This committee worked together to compose this helpful hints guide for any paralegal who desires to take a specialty examination administered by TBLS. This document is a publication of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas, which is solely responsible for its content. It is not a publication of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) nor is it endorsed in any way by TBLS. The Guide is now listed under the Members Only Area of the Paralegal Division website (you must sign into the members only area to access The Guide).
