At the heart of contested SAPCR cases is the search for facts.   Ideally, family lawyers want to avoid those precarious “he said, she said” disputes that turn primarily on which party testifies the best.  We want facts that are difficult to dispute and facts that have built-in credibility.  Often, these facts are in the hands of our various governmental entities, including law enforcement, child protective services, the attorney general, and schools.    This presentation will discuss why this information is important, how to obtain it, and how to get it admitted in court.
