Posted by Texas Paralegal Division Blogger at blog@txpd.org on October 24, 2016

PD 35 YR SYMBOL

District 3 of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas held its 2016 Paralegal Day luncheon at the Reata Restaurant in Fort Worth on October 12th.  Seventy-four members and guests attended, including State Bar President-Elect Tom Vick, State Representative Phil King, President-Elect of the Tarrant County Bar Association, Nick Bettinger, who read the Paralegal Day Proclamation, and Dr. Barbara Kirby, who presented “Walking the Ethical Tightrope:  The future of the legal profession” for one hour of CLE in ethics.

Each attendee received a goodie bag and tickets to a Fort Worth Brahmas hockey game, along with an opportunity to win one of many door prizes.  Mr. Vick won the grand prize:  a copy of the Paralegal Handbook.

A special thank you to our sustaining members, Compex Legal Solutions, Kim Tindall & Associates and Depo Texas, who served as Emerald Sponsors.
