Congratulations to the PD’s newest CORE Registered Paralegals

Posted by PD Membership on August 19, 2011

In June 11, 2011, 188 paralegals took the Paralegal CORE Competency Exam® pilot test at 12 test sites across the country. Of the paralegals who completed the test, 148 achieved a passing score of 550 or better. Sixteen Texas paralegals passed the CORE Registered Paralegal Exam, including two PD members: Connie Guinn and Laura Hepner.

Congratulations, Connie and Laura!

These paralegals are the very first CORE Registered Paralegals® and are now entitled to use the CRP® credential. Congratulations to all who passed!

This new entry-level exam should become available in mid-to-late 2011, and will be offered to those newer paralegals non yet eligible to sit for the PACE (Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam). Click here to download a brochure about the CORE exam; additional information will be released at www.paralegal.org.
